Camp Randall, Madison, Wisconsin
A memorial marker, at Camp Randall, honors soldiers of the 14th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment who were killed or died of their wounds received April 7, 1862 during the Battle of Shiloh, Tenneesse.
The 14th Wisconson Infantry Regiment was raised at Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, completed training there, and mustered into Federal service on January 30, 1862.
